What is Equine Assisted Learning?

Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) is a unique, hands on experience that helps individuals develop essential life skills through guided interaction with horses, no riding required. Participants engage in ground based activities that promote communication, self awareness, problem solving, and emotional regulation. Horses are intuitive and responsive animals, providing immediate feedback and helping individuals learn to lead with clarity, empathy, and confidence. Whether working one on one or as part of a group, participants discover new strengths and insights that often translate into everyday success.

Join us for Equine Assisted Learning, a new program facilitated by Chez Perlini from Restorative Pathways. We're proud to host this innovative program at our center, bringing Chez’s knowledge and experience in equine assisted services to our participants.

Individual Sessions (1:1)

Our one on one Equine Assisted Learning sessions offer a personalized experience where participants work closely with a horse and facilitator. These sessions focus on building confidence, emotional awareness, communication, and personal growth through hands on activities with the horse. Each session is tailored to the individual’s goals, allowing for a supportive and reflective space to learn, connect, and grow.

Group Sessions

(Up to 6 Participants)

Group Equine Assisted Learning sessions bring people together to learn and grow alongside horses in a supportive group environment. Through guided activities, participants practice teamwork, communication, problem solving, and leadership skills while interacting with the horses. Groups are kept small to ensure everyone has meaningful interaction and time to reflect on the experience.

Community and
Corporate Events (1 Time)

Community and Corporate sessions are single, focused experience designed for individuals, families, or small groups interested in exploring the benefits of working with horses. During this session, participants will be introduced to the horses and guided through intentional activities that promote self-awareness, emotional insight, and connection. It’s a great option for those wanting to experience equine assisted work in a structured, introductory setting.

A transformational experience for women seeking clarity, strength, and renewed self trust. Through guided on the ground exercises with horses (no riding), participants explore boundaries, communication patterns, and leadership presence. Horses respond to clarity and authenticity, they offer immediate feedback when mixed signals or self doubt show up and help us learn how to take hold of the reins of life.

VETERAN’S GROUP

Reins of Resilience

This group is for veterans who want a steady, practical space to reset their nervous system, rebuild trust in their instincts, and strengthen day to day coping, without having to “talk it out” the entire time. The focus stays grounded and skills based, with space to share at your own pace or not at all. Horses don’t need to know the details of your story to know you.

Participants often report:
